Job Summary:
Designs systems and selects hardware and software to serve user needs and utilizes capabilities of the desktop computer. Researches and evaluates software and new technology on a continuing basis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves system and network related issues on servers, desktops, peripherals and related equipment.
- Maintains an inventory of installed software, manages software licensing, and creates policies and procedures for upgrades.
- Works with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensures that new equipment is installed and ready to operate.
- Analyzes and makes recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
- Interacts directly with clients/vendors to provide technical support and customer service.
- Works closely with Tier I and II staff to resolve user issues, works on projects, provides daily support and maintenance, and works to resolve complex issues.
- Provides technical assistance and consultation to other members of our team.
- Participates in ongoing training in new technologies and methodologies, as well as for vendor certification.
- Performs daily system monitoring, verifies the integrity and availability of all physical and virtual hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
- Interfaces directly with Help Desk staff to ensure complete resolution of server issues reported through the Help Desk tracking system.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of the following but not limited to Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and Internet browser applications. Must have strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008/12, Windows W7/11 Workstations, Microsoft Office 2010 and O365 installations, Symantec Backup exec, Windows 2008/2012 server, Cloud telephony system support and Active Directory Administration.

Customer Service Representative

The CSR will be responsible for confirming data, cross-referencing, verifications and email correspondence, as well as delivering exceptional personalized customer service via phone and email. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, along with a meticulous attention to detail. He/she should be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and performing well under pressure. The ability to work effectively and professionally in a team environment is crucial. A strong willingness to learn new processes and software systems, coupled with above-average computer literacy, is essential for this position.

- Must be well spoken and fluent in English with the ability to liaise with international clients
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent computer skills in order to navigate a variety of software systems
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Customer service oriented (positive, helpful, patient, responsive and empathic)
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused, and self-managed, working productively, independently
- Ability to retain and apply information received from training
- A functional laptop or desktop computer
